No, requesting quotes on Movingle is completely free for customers. You only pay the moving service provider you choose for their services. Movingle doesn't accept payments on behalf of the movers, you pay for their services directly.
We do our best to ensure only genuine, reliable movers are listed on Movingle. Before any mover appears on the platform, they must pass our verification process, which includes:
- Valid NZBN registration
- Current public liability insurance
- Official ID with a verifiable address
- Profile and business review
- Online checks for negative feedback
We also operate a strict review system — only customers who book through Movingle can leave feedback, and we use various fake review detection techniques to prevent fake reviews from being shown. Providers cannot submit their own reviews or edit customer feedback.
That said, all movers on Movingle operate as independent businesses. We always recommend that customers read provider profiles carefully, check reviews, and (if they wish) do a quick online search before booking. If any issues do arise, we act quickly — including suspending or removing providers who do not meet our standards. While no platform can offer a 100% guarantee, we’re committed to providing a safe, transparent platform so you can make confident, informed choices.
You can receive up to 5 quotes from different providers, ensuring you have a variety of options to choose from. We believe 5 quotes is enough to make sure you're getting a good deal and not too much so that you become overwhelmed.
